Support theaters through crowd funding
Ticket Swap in association with Cosimo and GO FUND ME is launching a Crowd Funding campaign across Europe in order to support theaters. Indeed, the current health crisis has had a severe impact on this sector. Government grants have been put in place, but unfortunately many theaters have not been able to benefit from them.
The aim of this initiative is to target local communities so that they can support their local theaters. Indeed, the entire campaign will be around the hashtag #LocalLégend in order to make fans aware of the consequences of Covid on their favorite theaters.
In addition to this great initiative, these three organizations created an explanatory guide, organized press relations and launched the campaign in 15 countries! All these actions to simplify the task for theaters.
Wilout supports this great initiative, by helping the organizers launch the Crowd Funding campaign.
How does it work?
For information, Crowd Funding or crowdfunding, is an exchange of funds between individuals, in order to finance a project via an online platform.
1) Download the TicketSwap guide
2) Create visuals under #LocalLegends
4) Add rewards for major donations (Ex: tickets for future events, skip-the-line tickets for upcoming events or backstage access for one year)
5) From November 18 — official launch — Share and communicate your GO FUND ME page on social networks with the hashtag #LocalLégend
All the funds are donated directly to the concert halls! As long as they have created their GO FUND ME page correctly, they can withdraw donations in the days following the donation and do not need to reach a specific amount.
