The Health Pass arrived in France after validation by the National Assembly. Starting on July 21, 2021, it will come into effect for all events ofand more than 50 people. Health pass and events
The Health Pass will be mandatory for events involving more than 50 people, such as festivals, shows, fairs, stadiums, etc. However, it will not be necessary to present it to access a museum, theater or historical monument.
- How does it work?
In order to welcome more than 50 participants at the venue of your event, the Health Pass must be requested at the entrance. In addition to health proof, you will need to ask for an identity card to check the consistency of the information. Attention: if you sell 50 tickets and 49 tickets are sold, you will still have to ask for the Health Pass at the entrance of your event.
In addition, the application TousAntiCovid Verif is available for organizers. On the application, the 3 types of evidence are offered in the form of a legible certificate.
- And for events with less than 50 seats?
You are not affected by the Health Pass, but other provisions can of course be put in place internally. In addition, the government is considering a solution that would facilitate the alert system in case of contamination. The establishment of a QR Code at the entrance of the event will allow each participant to register via the TousAntiCovid application and thus be notified in case of contact.
- And for multi-day festivals?
The Health Pass must be requested at the entrance to your event. If the participant leaves the zone and comes back, then the Health Pass must be required again. If he is staying at the venue of your event, there is no need to request the Pass. Indeed, the event is considered to be a “health bubble”.
- Deploying the entry control system
On the day of the event, staff must go through the lines to remind them to prepare the health proof and the identity document. The next step is the control of the health proof as well as the verification of identity consistency. An optional stop can be set up to distribute masks or perform a palpation. The last step is to check the tickets with the verification of the Health Pass again.
Health pass and participants
The Health Pass will apply from the age of 12. The RT-PCR or antigen test will be used as proof, as vaccination is currently not authorized for children. Foreign tourists who do not present certified proof will have to take a new test in order to access your event. In summer 2021, the system was expanded with the European Digital Covid-19 Certificate system in order to verify the evidence of European participants.
- Authorized documents
In digital format, each user can integrate their scanned evidence into the” Notebook ” of the TousAntiCovid application.
- The result of a negative test : RT-PCR or antigenic less than 48 hours old.
- A vaccination certificate : the participant must be fully vaccinated, i.e. he must have had his second injection if the vaccine is to be administered in two doses.
- A natural immunity certificate : document less than 6 months old issued by a laboratory that proves the presence of antibodies.
If the participant presents one of these three documents then he will be able to access your event. In addition, the participant will also be able to show a Health Pass in paper format by directly showing the various documents requested. If the test is positive, the participant will not be able to access your event or request a refund of these tickets.

When your events resume, our terminals of access control will allow you to Scan the Health Pass with the application developed by the government.
